Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro, according to report from Caught Offside.
Having already completed summer move for defender Diogo Dalot (FC Porto), midfielder Fred (Shakhtar Donetsk) and goalkeeper Lee Grant (Stoke City) so far in the current transfer window, the Red Devils are still linked with a move for the Juventus full-back ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
The Brazil left-back, has 10 international appearances for the Selecao team and he saw the back of net with four goals and whilst providing six assists in 29 appearances across all competition for the Serie A club last season.
He joined Juventus back in August 2015 following his transfer from FC Porto, and has scored nine goals in 114 appearances for the Champions League hopeful.
According to the report, it claims Man United have agreed “personal terms” with the left-back and he’s just some “few days” to joining the club, though talks are still on-going with Juventus in bringing down their £53m asking price for Sandro.
Sandro’s current contract with the Old Lady runs until the summer of 2020. (June 2020).
