AFC Bournemouth have reportedly joined the race to sign Scotland’s and Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney, according to reports from The Sun.
The Premier League club, who were beaten 2-1 by relegation threatened club Southampton on Saturday afternoon, have been linked with a summer move for the highly-rated Celtic defender.
The 20-year-old, who has registered nine international appearances for Scotland, has netted four goals and provided 11 assists across 52 appearances in all competition for Celtic so far this season.
Tierney, who is a boyhood Celtic player and joined the club when when he was just seven-years-old, has scored seven goals in 127 games overall for the Scottish Premiership champions.
The reports from the British tabloid adds Eddie Howe’s side are ready to battle it out with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Totteham Hotspur in a bid to secure the signing of the left-back to the Vitality Stadium ahead of the upcoming 2018-19 season.
The defender is contracted to Celtic until the summer of 2023, and Tierney is reportedly valued at £20m.
