Manchester United have been eyeing move for Italy international and Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti for quite some time and reports making rounds seem positive for the Manchester giants.
Reports according to The Sun earlier last month revealed United boss Jose Mourinho wants to make the move for Verratti, who is valued at £75million.
United have now been handed a huge boost as it is believed the Ligue 1 champions are ready to sell the midfielder to Old Trafford.
Although, PSG’s stance is that Verratti would only be sold if the Red Devils can agree Pogba as part of the deal that would see the midfielder join their club this summer.
Verratti has been dubbed one of the best midfielders in the world and has been a regular mainstay for the Ligue 1 side over the years.
He had an injury injury hit last season that only saw him registering just 38 appearances in all competitions, netting two goals and providing nine assists.
Pogba, on the other hand, has been an inconsistent player under Mourinho since his move from Juventus two years ago and even his performances for France in the on-going World Cup competition has not been impressive. As the the Sun reports, it is not certain whether Man United would accept PSG’s player plus cash agreement to sign Verratti this summer.
