According to a report, Scottish champions Celtic are close to agreeing personal terms with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain for on-loan striker Odsonne Edouard this summer.
Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side are believed to be keen on signing the youngster on a permanent basis after he made a big impression during his long spell with Celtic this season.
From the Daily Mail, the British tabloid claimed a deadline of June 16 is in place for a deal to be agreed, with a reported fee of £5m – plus various add-ons – having been in placed by the Ligue 1 champions.
Celtic are believed set to see through this deal with PSG in the next fortnight having agreed deal to sign Edouard, making the 11-goal hitman their first transfer business of the summer transfer window.
Odsonne Edouard has previously spent time on loan with Ligue 1 side Toulouse, scoring one goal in 16 league appearances before get shipped to Celtic.
