Reports: Celtic tipped to complete a “mega €10m” transfer soon

Sent out on loan from Paris Saint-Germain to Celtic last season, Odsonne Edouard ended up impressing Brendan Rodgers and clearing all doubts enough to try and make his deal with the Hoops permanent.

According to a reliable report from Paris United on Twitter, Edouard’s process in securing a permanent deal with Celtic is now well on its way, with the young striker expected to be transferred to Celtic for a reported €10m fee.

The Ligue 1 club’s director of football, Antero Henrique, is said to have returned from Qatar recently to try and get Edouard’s deal over the line with Celtic.

According to the above-mentioned source, it claimed United continue by explaining a medical could take place for Edouard in England.

Rodgers, who was among managers thought to replace Arsene Wenger before the appointment of Unai Emery was announced, had allegedly told the young striker he would join him to Arsenal should he be chose as the Frenchman’s successor.

Edouard nailed 29 appearances for Celtic last season across all competition, netting 11 goals and registering four assists.
