Argentina forward and Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi has been tearing defenses apart in the Series A and the striker appears he could be on the verge for a move away.
Icardi has been a victim of mixed feelings between Inter Milan fans over the years but he has continued to score goals on a regular basis and can right be called one of the best centre forwards in the words.
The striker has taken his talents to the Champions League this season for the first time with series of strong performances and is surely growing longer by the day.
Icardi this season, already has seven goals and two assists in Series A and this highlights how important the striker is to Inter and the Nerazzuri will surely be expecting any interested side to pay through the nose for him.
As reported by Italian news outlet Caliciomercato, the tabloid reveals Real Madrid are the front-runners to sign Icardi as part of their major transfer investment next summer following their terrible start to the season. However, the outlet adds further that Icardi’s wife and agent Wanda, will be a major concern for the Los Blancos.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are another club who have been consistently linked with a move for the striker in recent weeks, with the Daily Star reporting the Blues will whatever it will take to sign Icardi given their problems up front and coupled with the fact that Icardi is a player whose ability is well know to their boss Maurizio Sarri during his time with Napoli.
Liverpool is another side believed to be keen on his signing with the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp expected to invest heavily in a striker next summer. Daniel Sturridge is likely to leave the club as a free agent at the end of the season which leaves the back-up options to the Salah, Mane, Firmino trio looking thin on the ground.
