According to report coming from France, Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur are considering the signing of France international midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The report is according to France Football who claimed the North London club are eyeing move for their North London rival Arsenal target this summer. It’s believed the midfielder could be on his way to White Hart Lane this summer as Spurs first signing of the summer.
The 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, has six international apperances for Frwnace, netting five goals and providing seven asssist for PSG in all outings last season.
Rabiot, a former Manchester City’s youth player, has netted 22 goals in 2017 appearances for PSG since he registered his first-team debut against Ligue 1 side Bordeaux in August 2012.
However, despite being a superb central midfielder, he is not consider fit enough and he’s not on international duty with France at this summer’s FIFA World Cup finals in Russia after being left out of Didier Deschamps’ final 23-man squad, before refusing to be put on the standby list.
It would be interesting who end up signing the midfielder between Arsenal and Tottenham this summer. But if the midfielder does end up joining Spurs this summer, this would annoy the Gunners faithful who had been hoping their side would finalized move for the midfielder this summer. His current contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs until 2019 and he’s valued at £45m, according to Transfermkt.
