According to reports in Italy, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to join Juventus this summer. It’s believed the Portuguese ace has agreed to join the Serie A champions on a €30 million per year deal whilst Juve is ready to offer Real Madrid €100 million for his signing this summer.
The report is according to Tuttosport via CalcioMercato.com that claims Ronaldo has rejected a €200 million fee to play in China for the next two season but rejected this offer in aim to join Juventus this summer.
As per the report, Ronaldo wants to win the Champions League title with a new club this coming season and if Real’s president Florentino Perez agrees his transfer from Santiago Bernabeu for €100m, Juve are reportedly lining up a four-year contract for the former Manchester United star.
This, however, will serve a good news for Chelsea as Juventus are hoping to finance this deal through the sales of Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani to Chelsea.
Chelsea are expected to to pay a total €100m that will see the duo at Stamford Bridge this summer, although this will begin as soon as Maurizio Sarri takes over in South West London club from his compatriot Antonio Conte.
And, according to Il Corriere dello Sport via the above-mentioned Italian news outlet, the Premier League club could announce the arrival of Maurizio Sarri this week which could they follow with the announcement of Higuain and Rugani.
Sarri has reportedly agreed to sign a three-year deal with Chelsea that would see him €6million-a-year with the Premier League club.
Chelsea have also made an improved bid to hijack Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City bid for Brazilian and Napoli midfielder Jorginho.
