Manchester City defender Kyle Walker took to the media to claim that Manchester United fans have some habit of walking up to him to express how they’ll prefer City to win the Premier League over Liverpool this season.
The Cityzens have locked horns with the Merseysider club inbthe final weeks of the 2018/19 campaign being two points behind their rival.
Manchester United is only difficult match left to face for the Pep Guardiola side which is being played today with four matches left to play.
In the big game tonight, the Red Devils will be battling for a spot in the top four while the Blues having been eliminated from the UEFA Champions League will be giving it their all to go up the table in the Premier League.
Speaking about the upcoming Manchester Derby, Kyle Walker said: “United fans are in a difficult situation obviously,”
“When I’m out and about or walking my dogs, United fans are coming up to me saying, ‘We’d rather City win the league than Liverpool’.
“It’s strange to hear but I can assure you the United players aren’t going to leave a red carpet and say, ‘Go on City, score past us’.
“They’re going to make it difficult because it’s a game of football and they’re fighting for the top-four as well so they need the points.”
