Manchester United are considering signing Celtic’s Kieran Tierney as a potential replacement for our-of-favour star Luke Shaw, according to reports.
The Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has publicly criticised the English left-back multiple times and is set to ship out Shaw in the summer.
And report according to The Daily Record claims the Premier League side are pushing to offer a bid in the Scotland international.
Man United have been linked with Juventus left-back Alex Sandro as well, but he would be the cheaper option despite just signing a six-year deal Celtic in October.
Tierney has been a fan-favourite since bursting onto the scene in Glasgow and has registered 100 first-team appearances – including experience in the Champions League.
The Scotland international ha also operated in a back three for Brendan Rodgers’ league leaders, with the left-back’s versatility a big plus for Mourinho.
Tierney made his Celtic debut as a teen in 2014 and has been on the radar of several top clubs.
