Sky Sports pundit Andy Walker has given his predicition for Celtic’s upcoming match against Hearts on Sunday noon at the Tynecastle.
Walker, writing in his column on the Sky Sports website, has tipped Brendan Rodgers man to continue on their winning ways with a 2-1 win at Tynecastle.
His tip for ‘key player’ is Old Firm title party hero Odsonne Edouard, who he believes will be “worth the reported £6million-£7million required to get him signed up permanently.”
Celtic will be looking to revenge against the team that ended their unbeaten run in an incredible style back in December, as they crashed to a 4-0 loss, in one of the most shocking results of this and or any other season.
Celtic have won their other two games against the Edinburgh side this season, winning 4-1 and 3-1.
However, if the Hoops play to the best of their abilities, even with many changes they should have more enough quality to defeat Craig Levein’s side and end their away travels this season with a victory, and revenge after losing to Hearts back in December.
Celtic v Hearts match won’t be easy to predict, as the reigning Champions may well be in “holiday mode” after winning the league title against arch-rivals Rangers last week, and indeed, many of their first-team players have been on holiday in Spain this week.
Rodgers may well decide to make changes to his team tomorrow, and we should expect the likes of Scott Sinclair and Patrick Roberts to start, who have been on the fringes in recent weeks, but who are more than good enough to get Celtic three points at Tynecastle on Sunday. It’s also worth taking note of that Hearts have been unbeaten since they returned to the renovated Tynecastle stadium.
