The 2018/19 Premier League Fixtures: Everything you need to know about your club

Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City kickstart their title defence away at the Emirates against Arsenal in a strong start to the new 2018/19 season.

The Gunners new boss Unai Emery who was appointed Arsene Wenger’s successor is presented with a tough start at home to last seasons’s runaway winners, with Pep Guardiola’s men backed by the bookies as the favourites in winning the Premier League once again.

The Premier League runners-up Manchester United will welcome 2015/16 champions Leicester City at Old Trafford on the opening day of the new season on August 11.

Liverpool, the last season’s Champions League finalist welcome West Ham United and their new boss Manuel Pellegrini to Anfield for their first match of the season.

Marco Silva will guard his new Everton side with a visit to newly-promited Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. at Molineux.

Other promoted teams Cardiff City travel to AFC Bournemouth, while Championship play-off winners Fulham entertain London rivals Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage.

Huddersfield Town clinched survival last may by Antonio Conte’s Chelsea side to a draw at Stamford Bridge. And the Cherries boss David Wagner’s men will start their new season at home against the Blues.

Tottenham, meanwhile, travel to Newcastle again on the opening day – just as they did last year, where they won 2-0.

Spurs have their new stadium to look forward to. And it Liverpool who will be the first visitors to the new White Hart Lane on September 15 with Mauricio Pochettino’s side returning to Wembley for their August 18 home game against Fulham.

The first Manchester Derby of the new season comes up on November 10 with Guardiola’s men hosting Jose Mourinho’s men at the Etihad Stadium. The North London derby between Arsenal v Tottenham, will take place at the Emirates on December 1 with the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton on the same day followed by strong encounter between Chelsea and Fulham.

The boxing day fixtures see West Ham on the travelling to Southampton with Liverpool taking on Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United side and Manchester United hosting Huddersfield Town.

The final fixture of the season sees Manchester City travel to Brighton and Hove Albion, United at home to Cardiff City, Liverpool welcoming Wolves at Anfield, Arsenal up against Brighton and Chelsea away to King Power Stadium against Leicester City.
