Despite claiming back-to-back trebles, Celtic fans are hoping their boss Brendan Rodgers enter into the transfer market for some quality signings.
The Scottish champions have been no match for anyone in Scotland but the manner in which they get dusted out of European competitions needs to be addressed both in the Champions League and Europa League this season. While some players may not be ready for yet, Jerome Sinclair of Watford could have a big future with a move to Celtic Park.
Sinclair, valued at £1.3 million on Transfermarkt, the young 21-year-old has struggled for adequate game time since joining Watford this season and has only managed 29 appearances in the Premier League. For a promising forward that simply isn’t that very good, Sinclair has showed at Liverpool when playing for the Merseysides U21’s how terrific his form is and he will be hoping to capitulate this form should he join a team like Celtic this summer.
Celtic already have an array of attacking playings in their rank but there hasn’t been none quite like Jerome Sinclair. He’s big, physical and a combative striker with lot of pace to get past defenders as well as then having the ability to fire a shot past the goalkeeper.
Brendan Rodgers will be grateful to have another player in his ranks in the club’s bid to become even better next season and should the Watford striker find his best scoring form, Sinclair could be an influential player next season with the Hoops.
