Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been encouraged to leave the club by his national boss, Javier Aguirre.
The Egypt manager told press:
“It may be better for him to leave within a season or two if Liverpool doesn’t win any titles.”
Salah being encouraged to leave the club comes as a result of the Reds inability to deliver some silverware and failure to do so this season might see the former AS Roma star facing the exit door at Anfield.
Salah who’s also referred to as the Egyptian King by some Liverpool fans had a brilliant year last season and his form this season looks decent as well. The Egyptian has already netted six goals and three assists in 12 appearances he has registered so far this season and he will have to put on his best performance if he is to repeat the brilliant form that saw him netted 32 goals he 35 games last season in the Premier League.
Despite Liverpool sharing the goals around a bit this season, the Reds are still unbeaten in the league this season. Liverpool are just two points off league leaders Manchester City and will be hoping that they can keep up with their challenge for the title until the end of the season.
Having made strong progress under Jurgen Klopp, as Premier League title is a must for the Reds over the next five years but remains to be seen if they can beat Manchester City to the title who looks like they have just begun a period of domestic dominance in the English football, under Pep Guardiola.
Mo Salah with Liverpool could be the man to take this title race all the way but if he doesn’t win the league or any reasonable silverware soon, he could be on his way out of the club.
