Why this £6.3m-rated Tottenham star would take Celtic further in Europe

Celtic fans are very well satisfied with another league this year but still want Brendan Rodgers to take the team to the next level with strong performance in the European competitions.

Celtic again dominated in Scotland this year however the club’s progression this coming season could be hindered should the lose loanee Patrick Roberts back to his principality club Manchester City, whilst having already lost another winger in Charly Musonda.

In light of this, I think that the signing of a top winger this summer should be the club’s top priority, with Tottenham Hotspur Georges-Kevin N’Koudou the ideal man for Celtic, who is valued at £6.3 million on Transfermarkt.

Celtic will want to ensure their stay ahead of Rangers for another season and the signing of N’Koudou could provide the club the quality to do just that. Although N’Koudou’s time in England hasn’t been impressive, the young French player show signs he could become a world-class given a move to Celtic for example.

The 23-year-old has tremendous pace, an abundance of skills and trickery and always wants to go at defenders. Given the opportunity to move to Scotland could be very beneficial for his career given how well fellow Frenchman Moussa Dembele has done when moving to Celtic Park.

N’Koudou would also be a huge statement of intent from Celtic because of the hype that surrounded the winger before moving to Tottenham. In hindsight, his move to Spurs has not worked, but the winger could find his true form at a side like Celtic looking for a top winger to take them forward.
