Report coming from Neil Cameron of the Scottish Herald claimed Celtic are close to agreeing a deal to sign Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster on loan for the entirety of next season.
The teenage sensation suffered a season ending injury earlier this year which slowed down his development and Jurgen Klopp apparently feels that playing away from Liverpool for a season would see him earn more regular first-team football and help him build his career.
Cameron is one of Liverpool’s hottest rising young products and bit things are expected from him in the future, so a year of regular professional football could do him wonders and hopefully, he’d be able to make Klopp’s squad ahead of the 2019/20 season.
There are reports saying other clubs are also interested in taking the youngster on loan but he reports that Celtic are likely to win the battle to get him.
If he does move north of the border, Brewster will be working under Brendan Rodgers, the man who was in charge of Liverpool when the Reds took him from Chelsea in 2005.
